Board of Realtors and Recycle Utah Carbon Footprint Workshop Rescheduled Saving Money and The Environment , The Carbon Footprint Workshop ,011 recycling, postponed, due to a major February snowstorm, has been re-scheduled. This free workshop will be held on Tuesday, March 27, from 3 p.m.-5 p.m., at the Alf Engen Ski Museum at the Utah Olympic Park. Local business owners and managers will learn how to save money and preserve Park City's mountain environment at the same time by attending a series of workshops designed to help Park City businesses reduce their "carbon footprint." The first workshop will focus on effective recycling programs. Brent Giles, Operations Director of Park City Mountain Resort, will give a keynote presentation on the Save Our Snow report, the scientific study that predicts the impact of climate change on Park City's skiing economy. "The recent 'Save Our Snow' study showed us the critical importance of measuring our contribution to climate change emissions," said Tom Ward, Chair of the Park City Board of Realtors Environmental Issues Committee. "Reducing the carbon footprint of our businesses is easy, as well as expected by our customers, clients and residents."
