Focusing on finding solutions and solving problems creates shared energy and builds relationships. My 10 years of work on the Summit County Historical Society and my work on the Utah State Centennial project gave me an opportunity to make friends all over Summit County. As a Commissioner, I would look for ways to create study groups and project committees which bring people together to find solutions and shared values. Local events in which people connect with one another cither in work or play can also be helpful. The Cow Ballet in Peoa was an excellent example. We might consider historical tours, bicycle rides, tree plantings, road or trail |L clean ups and other opportunities to introduce Summit County's communities to each other. What ideas do you have? I'd love to hear. FLOURISHING TOGETHER YOUR VOTE MATTERS. Vote Tuesday, November 2 www.tellsally.com sally@lellsally.com |
