What you say to yourself in your mind is called "self-talk." Self-talk is very powerful. Suspicious, angry self-talk can make you a suspicious, angry person-someone no one wants to be near. Enthusiastic, encouraging self-talk can keep you going when everyone else has given up. Positive self-talk can help make you successful and liked. Without even realizing it, you talk to yourself in positive or negative ways every day of your life. Your self-talk determines how you feel and how the world looks to you. It is like looking at a picture of the sun on the horizon. People with positive self-talk feel the sun is rising and a new day is about to begin with lots of possibilities. People with negative self-talk feel the day is almost over and a time of darkness and despair is beginning. When they look at a half-filled glass of water, their negative self-talk convinces them to see it as half empty. • Overnight service, in most cases Black start at $ 9 . 9 9 H o u r s : 10-6, Mon.-Fri., 10-2 Sat.
