The Drivers Awards Banquet was held last Friday at Little America in Salt Lake City. Richard Christensen of Centerfield, was presented 2006 Driver of the Year for the state of Utah. He was chosen for this award from over 24 other drivers from throughout the state. Richard has driven for Robinson Transport, Inc. since April 1991. He has accumulated more than 5.7 million accident free miles in his lifetime career of over 45 years. The award was presented to Richard by David Creer of the Utah Trucking Association. Richard is married to Earlene and has 6 children and 10 grandchildren. Joey Anderson of Centerfield, was presented the award for the month of January 2006. He has worked at Robinson's since February of 1999 and has driven more than 900,000 accident free miles. He was presented the award by Dave Creer, Utah Trucking Association.
