A daughter, Hanah Hyde Hunter, was born Dec. 11, 2008, to Wendy Roper and Jonathan Hunter of Aurora. She weighed 5 pounds, 7 ounces. A son, Bridger Donald Hill, was born Dec. 12, 2008, to Jed and Michelle Hill of Gunnison. He weighed 5 pounds, 14 ounces. A daughter, Eladee Ann Jensen, was born Dec. 19, 2008, to Zachary and Kara Jensen of Centerfield. She weighed 6 pounds. Weddings Anderson - Gleave Jessica Lyn Olson and Kyle Arnoldson Robert and Lori Olson are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Jessica Lyn, to Kyle Arnoldson, son of Gary and Leslie Arnoldson. They will be married in the Manti LDS Temple on Jan. 3, 2009. A reception will be held in their honor that evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Mt. Pleasant North Stake Center. Jessica graduated from North Sanpete High School and is currently attending Snow College. She is employed at Wheeler’s Drive-In. M Y K Wednesday, December 31, 2008 Franz Huntsman Dejanae Holly Butterfield Dejanae Holly Butterfield was born Dec. 25, 2008, at 11:15 p.m. at Timpanogos Regional Hospital. She weighed 6 pounds, 3 ounces. Dejanae is the daughter of Kade and Meggan Butterfield of Spanish Fork. She is the C Kyle graduated from North Sanpete High School. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Minnesota and is currently attending Snow College. He is employed at Stewardship Ranches. Grandparents of the bride are Bryce and Georgia Jackson of Milburn and Lynn and Pat Olson of Mt. Pleasant. Grandparents of the groom are Elliot and Larane Arnoldson of Moroni and the late Elmer and Rega Shelley. Franz L. Huntsman of Manti passed away Dec. 24, 2008, at the Timpanogos Hospital in Orem. He was 69. Franz was a beloved husband, father, brother and uncle. He passed away after a long battle with cancer. Franz was born July 4, 1939, in Torrey to LaVar and Lillie Rymer Huntsman. He married Fern Edwards on June 9, 1962, in the Manti LDS Temple. Franz is survived by his wife, Fern, of Manti; children Heidi (Valon) Ericksen, Monroe; Kevin (Robin) Huntsman, St. George; and Vickie (Mel) Kasalek, Taylorville; grandchildren Vaylon Ray Ericksen, Erica Elaine Ericksen, Tammy Amanda Huntsman, Justin Lee, Sabrina Michelle and Mathew Ryan Rawson; brother Jerry Huntsman, North Carolina; and Franz L. Huntsman sisters Ella Christley and Beth Huntsman, both of Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Tammy, and sisters Violet Madsen and Flora Huntsman. Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 29 at 11 a.m. in the Manti LDS Stake Center (295 S. Main St.). Burial was in the Manti City Cemetery under the direction of Magleby Mortuary of Manti. Douglas Jensen Obituaries Gayle Allred Lloyd Gleave and Katie Anderson Katie Anderson and Lloyd Gleave are excited to announce their marriage on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, in the Manti LDS Temple. A celebration will be held that evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Rock Church at 131 E. 100 North in Fairview. Katie was raised in Fairview and graduated from North Sanpete High School. She attended Snow College for a year and a half before teaching English in China for six months. Shortly after returning from China, she served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Vina Del Mar, Chile. She will graduate from Southern Utah University in May 2009 with bachelor’s degree of fine arts in photography. Lloyd was raised in Annabella and graduated from South Sevier High school. He served a mission in Puebla, Mexico. He then attended Southern Utah University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He now resides in St. George. Parents of the bride are Kevin and Paula Anderson. Parents of the groom are Donna Made and the late Ray Haun Gleave. Taylor - Morrill Our loving husband, dad, “Poppy” and brother, Gayle Andrew Allred, returned home to his Father in Heaven on Dec. 27, 2008, at his winter home in Brenda, Ariz., in the arms of his Sweetheart. Gayle was born in Fountain Green on May 15, 1939, to Perry Earl Allred and Hazel Lund Allred. He married Carolyn Conlon on May 8, 1960, in Ely, Nev. They were sealed in the Manti LDS Temple on June 8, 1975, and they were blessed with three children: Daniel Gayle, Jeffery Collin and Connie LaRue. Gayle served four years in the U.S. Navy. After returning home, he worked as a boiler fireman at Dugway Proving Ground for 12 years, and then transferred to Tooele Army Depot as a department supervisor. He retired in April 1993, and he and his wife spent their summers at their cabin near Fairview Lakes, and winters in Arizona. They sold their cabin in 2005 and moved to Mt. Pleasant, where they had been spending their summers. Gayle loved hunting, fishing, rock hounding and jewelry making. He was a master at making canes. Gayle is survived by his wife, Carolyn; son Jeff (Sylvia); daughter Connie (Bruce); grandchildren Miranda (Adam), Andrew (Amanda), Douglas Jay Jensen Gayle Andrew Allred Daniel, Michael and Colby, all of Tooele; sister Edice (Curtis) Allred, Provo; brother Perry N. Allred, Apple Valley, Utah; sister Susan (Shirl) Jackman, Mapleton; brother Robert (Jan) Allred, Nephi; and sister-in-law Lueine Allred, Ely, Nev. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Hazel, son Danny, and brother James. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at 1 p.m. in the Mt. Pleasant Third Ward Chapel. Friends may call Friday, Jan. 2 from 6-8 p.m. at Rasmussen Mortuary, and again Saturday from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. prior to services at the church. Rhea Larsen Our brother, uncle and son, Douglas Jay Jensen, passed away Dec. 27, 2008, in Nephi. Doug was born April 16, 1949, in Mt. Pleasant to Perry and Thora Jensen. He attended and graduated from North Sanpete High School. He worked at the Moroni processing plant for many years and also for Moroni City for awhile. Doug raised turkeys with his father and his brother, Terry, for 32 years. Doug was the oldest of Perry and Thora’s 10 children. His gentleness and sweet spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Doug is survived by his father, Perry Jensen, Moroni; brothers and sisters Terry Jensen, Fountain Green; Francis Jensen, Mt. Pleasant; Andrew Jensen, Mt. Pleasant; Raymond (Natilee) Jensen, Moroni; Shirley Norton, Salt Lake City; Gayleen (Tom) Gonzales, Mt. Pleasant; Susan (Frosty) Hittle, Boulder, Wyo.; Alice (David) Simmons, Chester; and Colleen (Troy) Mackey, Wales; He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Thora. Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, at 11 a.m. in the Moroni LDS Stake Center. A viewing will be held the evening prior from 6-8 p.m., and again Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services. Viewings will be held at the stake center. Rhea Renee Rasmussen Larsen Rhea Renee Rasmussen Larsen, 80, passed away Dec. 21, 2008, at her daughter’s home in American Fork, surrounded by her loved ones. Rhea was born Jan. 14, 1928, in Centerfield to Christian Burton and Violet Caroline Follett Rasmussen. She married Morris Marx Larsen on May 23, 1946, in Manti. Morris preceded her in death on April 29, 1987. Rhea was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by daughters Frances (Cloyd) Timothy, Pauline Larsen, Barbara (Randy) Gray and Lanette Larsen; 11 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, mother, father and brother Leone Rasmussen. Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 27 at 11 a.m. in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 E. 100 North in American Fork. Burial was in the Manti Cemetery.
