He weighed 7 pounds 5 ounces and will be named Emmitt Terrel Nelson. On Oct. 8, 2007 a girl was born to Jeremy Anderson and Emily Hernandez of Ephraim. She weighed 6 pounds 5 ounces and will be named Evangelina Dawn Anderson. On Oct. 9, 2007 a girl was born to Nathan and Karen Johnson of Ephraim. She weighed 7 pounds and will be A7 Sanpete Messenger/Gunnison Valley Edition named Taylor Brielle Johnson. On Oct. 13, 2007 a boy was born to Jacob and Heather Atwood of Ephraim. He has been called to serve in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Spanish Speaking mission. He will speak in sacrament meeting in the Gunnison 2nd Ward at 1:30 p.m. at the Gunnison Stake Center. Kevin is the son of Ardean and Melody Anderson of Gunnison. He is the grandson of Erma Anderson of Mayfield and Joan Glade of South Jordan. He graduated from Gunnison Valley High School in Kevin Anderson 2006 along with the seminary program. He earned his Eagle Scout award. He attended Snow College for one year. He has been employed by Brycon Construction in Lehi during the last two summers. sanpetemessenger.com Don and Karolee Dennett, of Springdale are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Tiffany Karolee to Kenneth Thyler “Ty” Miller, son of Bruce and Laurie Miller, of Manti. They have chosen to be sealed in the St. George Temple on Oct. 19, 2007. A reception will be held to celebrate their marriage in Springdale that evening from 5-7 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend. Tiffany graduated from Tuachan High School, and Seminary in St. George. She was Senior Class President and yearbook chairman, she was also a member of the dance company and loves ballet. She is currently a junior at Southern Utah University working on an Elementary Education major. Ty graduated from Manti High School and Seminary. He served a fulltime mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints in the Tennessee, Nashville Mission.Ty graduated from Southern Utah University in May of 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He is currently employed as a program coordinator for Turn Community Services, an agency that provides services for people with disabilities. Ty and Tiffany met while attending school in Cedar City. The couple will continue their education at Southern Utah University in Cedar City. sanpetemessenger.com OBITUARIES Robert Melroy Graham Robert Melroy Graham, a long-time resident of Spring City, Utah, passed away on Oct. 13, 2007 at his home after a long illness. He was born on Nov. 25, 1933 to Guy Melroy Graham and Gwen Oldroyd in Milburn, Utah. Bob spent his childhood working on the family farm and attended Snow College. On July 10, 1953 he married his high school sweetheart and eternal companion, Ruth Rene Ellis, in the Manti Temple. They were blessed to become the parents of four children. They made their home in Spring City, where Bob made his living as a successful beekeeper. For 48 years he served as the Sanpete County Bee Inspector and was President of the Utah Beekeeper ’s Association. He was the Utah delegate to the National Honey Board’s Nomination Committee and won awards for his service. Bob was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and found great joy in serving in his many church callings. He served in three bishoprics and loved being a temple worker in the Manti Temple. He also served on the Spring City Council and was a part owner in a company that made campers. He was a loving husband to his wife and devoted father to his children. He was a sterling example to everyone who knew him of honesty, integrity, thrift and hard work. His greatest joy was his family and their accomplishments, and he found great peace in knowing that his family was sealed together for eternity and that their associa- Robert Melroy Graham tion with each other would continue beyond this life. Bob is survived by his wife, Ruth; children, Wendy Keller (Larry), Spanish Fork; JoAnn Christiansen, Farmington, New Mexico; Carolyn Campbell (Lindsay), West Valley City; David Robert Graham (Nola), Riverton; sister, Betty Sorensen (Darrell), Montpelier, Idaho; brother, Neil Graham (Diane), Kearns; and sister-in-law, Lynn Graham, Clearfield. The family would like to express their deep gratitude to the nurses and IHC Hospice staff whose service allowed Bob to remain at home with his family until his passing. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 11 a.m. in the Spring City 2nd Ward Chapel. A viewing was held Monday, Oct. 15 at Rasmussen Mortuary, Mt.
