Those friends, said Powell, are the ones who have been impacted most at the high school by Wilson’s death. “Mark was a quiet student,” Powell said, “but he was friends with many. He was friends with kids who don’t have a lot of friends, and that’s invaluable. I think he touched those lives.” Powell said the school’s schedule on Friday, Nov. 11 would be arranged to allow Wilson’s fellow students to attend his funeral, to be held at noon that day at the LDS Mayfield Ward church building in Mayfield. He also said the school will recognize Wilson with an honorary diploma at graduation next spring. LOSING A LOVED ONE TO DRUGS? If addiction is killing a loved one, we have the answer.
