Oct. 5: World Teachers’ Day Oct. 6-8: The Northern Utah Trailfest (The Nut) hosted by Trails Foundation Northern Utah, the GOAL Foundation, and Weber County Parks & Recreation. The Northern Utah Trailfest is a fall celebration for all trail users! It’s a festival for outdoor enthusiasts & anyone who enjoys adventure & recreation. Runners, hikers, and mountain bikers—amateurs & seasoned athletes alike—will enjoy the challenge of the NUT Trail Run & Mountain Bike Race as they compete to complete the most course laps in 3, 6, or 9 hrs. Camp for the weekend or spend the day at North Fork Park as trail users of all ages & abilities come together to enjoy tasty food, live music & the Free Community Trailfest-ival at Cutler Flats Base Camp.
