Shot Ski kits, sans the alcohol, are available for purchase by visiting parkcitysunriserotary.org or parkcityshotski.com. Proceeds will benefit the Rotary Club’s grants program. PC FALL TRAIL RUNNING SERIES VERTICAL CHALLENGE Final run of the PC Fall Trail Series is set for Friday, Oct. 23, on the K120 ski jump stairs. Runners will see how many laps they can do up the K120 ski jump at Utah Olympic Park and down a dirt road in 1 hour. The waves start at 5 p.m. Runners and hikers are welcome to participate. Covid protocols will be in place. Proceeds will benefit Park City Ski and Snowboard youth programs. To register, visit parkcityss.org by Thursday night, Oct. 22. There will be no registration on racing day. THE RETURN OF THE TWILIGHT DRIVE-IN AT UOP Park City Film will present two additional Twilight Drive-In weekends at Utah Olympic Park. The first will be Friday, Oct. 23, to Saturday, Oct. 24. The Oct. 23 films, which will start at 7 p.m., will feature a ski-movie double feature with the all-female film “Skivas” and the Utah premiere of “Salute,” both notrated. The films on Oct. 24 will be “Kubo and the Two Strings,” rated PG, and “Anchorman,” rated PG-13. The next weekend screenings will be held Friday, Oct. 31, Saturday, Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. The Oct. 30 film, which starts at 7 p.m., will be “Grease,” rated PG, and Oct. 31’s Halloween-themed offerings, which start at 6:30, will be “Monsters, Inc.,” rated G, and “Get Out,” rated R. There will also be a costume parade with special prizes that night at 6 p.m. The Nov. 1 film will be a free screening of Pixar’s “Coco,” rated PG, at 4:30 p.m. in celebration of the Day of the Dead.
