Please see Sports briefs, B-3 When Ali Efnor stepped up to the first tee at Fox Hollow Golf Course on May 27 and lined up her shot, it was only partially what she had in mind when she joined the Park City High School girls golf team as a senior this past spring. Efnor figured she’d have found herself in American Fork, at the Class 5A state tournament based on Park City’s success over the past decade. But she didn’t imagine that it would’ve been her first and only time representing the Miners, something she said was awesome and yet hard to comprehend. “It was really weird because this is my first time playing for Park City, and I honestly thought that I was going to get a full season in to prepare for the state championship,” Efnor said. “It was nice to finally just be able to get out on the golf course and play in a real tournament. I know it’s only one tourney but it was nice to actually do something and have the round you play matter. … It’s something that I’ll never forget.” The COVID-19 pandemic forced the shutdown of all UHSAA-sanctioned sports this past spring, and with it came the cancellation of the Class 5A state championship for girls golf. The tournament seems like it was run really well and I know the girls enjoyed it.” Efnor and five other Miners — senior Stephanie Burnham, juniors Caroline Please see Golf, B-3 Anne Cameron Mediation Attorney | Mediator | Collaborative Professional Offering Virtual Meetings and Mediations Moving New Cases and Mediations Forward We are open and taking all precautions for COVID-19 Using the latest digital technology, get a 32 point inspection on your vehicle for summer. ƌ ͻ x Focusing on Family Law Audi, BMW, Land Rover, Mercedes, Porsche, Subaru, VW, Volvo And All Other Makes and Models Pick up and delivery service available Conveniently located in the heart of Park City behind Ritual Chocolate Over 30 Years Experience: Serving Park City Since 1989 ( 2 8 8 6 ) 435-649-AUTO Se Habla Espanol x x x x x x x FAX: 435-649-2846 Mon-Fri: 8-530 1155 Iron Horse Dr • Park City Collaborative and Mediation Cases are Not Impacted by Court Calendar x Specializing in the repair and maintenance of Follow us on ͻ x Document Drafting for No Contest Divorce, Custody, and Family Law 1526 Ute Blvd., Suite 206, Park City, UT 84098 1945 S 1100 E., Suite 200, Salt Lake City, UT 84106 435-640-2158 | 435-659-8732 anne@aaclawutah.com www.aaclawutah.org www.utahcollabdivorce.com |
