The concert, which will be led by guest conductor David Danzmayr and feature guitarist Bokyung Byun, will include music from 19th century Austrian composer Schubert, as well as compositions from Mozart, Rodrigo, and Tauský. Friday, Aug. 9 Barn and Farmhouse Tours Barn and farmhouse tours will start at 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on the second Friday of each month at McPolin Farm, 3000 S.R. 224. The tours will take groups on a journey through the farm’s history. Free shuttle service from the PC MARC will run at 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. as there is no parking at the Farm. No dogs are allowed. Tickets are $5 per person and tours last approximately one hour. Children are welcome, however, tours are tailored toward an adult audience. Deer Valley Music Festival: ‘Music of the Rolling Stones’ The Utah Symphony’s Deer Valley Music Festival will continue with “Music of the Rolling Stones,” conducted by Brent Havens, and featuring vocalist Tony Vincent, at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9, at Deer Valley’s Snow Park Amphitheater. CONNECT also hosts at support group for parents and guardians of school-age youth from 4-5 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month at Parley’s Park Elementary School Counseling Center, 4600 Silver Springs Drive. In addition, Connect Summit County hosts a family mental health peer support group at 6:15 p.m. every last Tuesday of the month at the Park City Library, 1255 Park Ave. The sessions are free and open to the public. This group covers topics relevant to all people struggling with any type of disordered eating. Some topics include, but are not limited to; intuitive eating, body image, emotional eating, triggers and coping skills, mindfulness, and self esteem.
