And I’m looking forward to an expanded role up sthere in the summer.” w Covington is also looking fortward to collaborating with a slate rof guest artists that includes Botti son Friday and the Indigo Girls on yAug. 10. “When we work with the artists, we first ask them to submit a -list and orchestration of numbers dthey want to perform,” he said. s“I then go through the list and scores, and watch videos to get an idea of what these pieces are.” - The day of the concert, Covnington will meet with the artists xfor about 30 minutes before going einto rehearsals. - “We usually only have time for none rehearsal,” he said. “So, if we Wildfire season is here, and safety is top of mind for you and us. As wildfires become more frequent and intense, we’re taking even more steps to keep you safe—especially in areas with higher risk of fires. We’re trimming vegetation around power lines, adding more weather monitoring equipment and expanding our preparedness efforts by working with local, state and federal emergency services.
