ORLEANS AT THE EGYPTIAN THEATRE Orleans, known for the hits “Still the One” and “Dance With Me,” will perform Thursday through Saturday, April 18-20, at the Egyptian Theatre, 328 Main St. Evening curtain is 8 p.m. Thursday tickets are $35-$55; Friday and Saturday tickets are $39-$60. FOX SCHOOL OF WINE’S TABLE FOR 12 Fox School of Wine will present Table for 12, a wine tasting session, at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, at The Market at Park City, 1500 Snow Creek Dr. The session is designed to give both the beginner and the experienced wine lover a glimpse into stories, facts and history of the wine world. Attendees must be ages 21 or older. For information and registration, visit foxschoolofwine.com. ‘COLONIALISM AND THE UTE PEOPLE’ In recognition of Good Friday, the public is invited to a free presentation on the history of the Ute people in Utah and the impacts of colonialism, conquest and subjugation, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 19, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 4595 N. Silver Springs Drive. The presentation will be made by Forrest Cuch, a member and leader of the Ute tribe. Following the presentation, everyone will be invited to participate in a special version of the Stations of the Cross. The next morning on Saturday from 9:45 a.m. to noon, everyone is invited to a free educational presentation on the “Doctrine of Discovery,” and a conversation about how people may constructively use the information they receive through media outlets. EASTER EGG HUNT Basin Recreation’s free annual Easter egg hunt will run from 11 a.m. to noon at Matt Knoop Memorial Park, 4056 Shadow Mountain Dr. The hunt is for kids ages 1 to 10. To do this, the nonprofit that is dedicated to “preserve, educate and nurture” will throw a party from 3:307:30 p.m. on Monday, April 22, to continue the vision of the late Senator Gaylord Nelson, a Wisconsin Democrat who, along with others, founded the annual celebration as a way to raise awareness about environmental protection. EcoCenter collaborations with seven other organizations, such as EATS Park City and the Kimball Art Center, said visitor experience coordinator Hunter Klingensmith.
