Sherril Jean Christensen O'Bryant Achievement Jerald Max Chappie On Saturday, Oct. 31, Jerald Max Chappie retired from the United States Postal Service after 36 years. He worked as a letter carrier in'the Spanish Fork office for 14 years and then as a clerk at the Provo East Bay office for 22 years. Congratulations, Jerald, for the wonderful service you have given to our family and the great community in which we live. Obituary Donald Hale Anderton Spencer Killian Elder Joseph Cowan has returned home after serving two years in the Costa Rica, San Jose Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He will be speaking in the Payson 1st Ward, 225 South 400 East Payson, on Sunday Nov. 8 at 9 a.m. All friends and family are welcome. Elder Cowan is the son of John and Marilyn Cowan of Payson. Welcome Home Elder! WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2009 • A5 Bom Dec. 16, 1923, Sherril joined her husband Eldon in heaven Oct. 21, 2009. Sherril Jean grew up in Salem, a daughter of Alma F. "Short" and Merle Christensen. She attended Spanish Fork High School where she met her true love Eldon. Eldon and Sherril Jean married and raised four children in the Seattle, Wash. area. Sherril Jean had many true friends and an adoring family. She is survived by her children: Shirlene (Jack), Dennis (Cathy), Michael (Laurie) and Molly as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sherril Jean is also survived by her sisters: Gloria Richardson, Pearl Marie Buf- Grandparents, parents and loving relatives welcomed Donald H. Anderton home on Oct. 21, 2009. Don died from the devastating effects of Alzheimer's disease at home surrounded by his loving family. Don was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Don was born March 13, 1925 in Duchesne to Neil and Irene Hale Anderton. They were later divorced and Don was raised by his loving grand- ***************** ** parents, Frank and Grace Hale. He had a happy life attending school, helping at home, playing basketball'and graduating from Duchesne High School in 1943.
