Show - N E W S - B6 • WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 13, 2008 Spanisfy Fork Covering what matters most Community Breakfast Fair in the Square Namon Bills / Spanish Fork News Crowds lined up for the annual Breakfast in the Park, Saturday, Aug. 9, where Mayor Henderson and the Salem City Council greeted everyone. In addition to free pancakes, ham and eggs, most people also got a hug from councilmember Stan Green. Library Auction Namon Bills / Spanish Fork News The community came together once again in support of the library at the Salem Days Library Auction, Saturday, Aug. 9. Businesses in Salem and Spanish Fork, as well as individual residents, donated goods and services to be auctioned to the highest bidder. A grand total of $10,550 was raised to help support the library through the coming year. Kate Jarman / Spanish Fork News The Fair in the Square was held at the Downtown Ballpark Saturday, Aug. 9 from 11-4 p.m. There was much to do for both kids and adults. Games, food, craft booths, karaoke and a car show were set up all around the park. |
