Putting a pinion pine in the trunk, a generator in the back seat, and lights taped on every available space, he drove around the streets of Escalante for an amazed citizenry. Almost every year since then, as his experience increased, he added another old trailer from somebody’s back yard or field and another 1,000 lights. This year, Lenza Wilson Electric is excited once again to bring the people of Escalante a personal light parade brought right to their front doors. The 11 trailers are still pulled by the 1976 “Pedestrian Slayer” but approximately 20,00 lights are powered by one 25 KW generator whose throaty thump-thump exhaust announces that the parade is only a couple of blocks away. The car gets an enviable one-mile-per-gallon fuel efficiency pulling that 190 feet of glory, but the diesel generator burns only about five gallons of fuel per night. The most amazing feat of the light parade is the fact that the parade can rear-end itself. Southern utah hunter.com win a riFle!!! SuPPort your Fellow community memberS!!!
