' .It appean that an empty ear which waa pushed back from the ore blna received such a start that It came clear through to the abaft and aa the atatlon tender was away at the time the car dropped Into the shaft. It fell to the 160 level before it lodged on the shaft timbers. The cage waa at the bottom. Aa the car crashed down the shaft It tore out some wall plates and other timber and several hours were required to repair the damage, which waa not in any way serious. -- - Homsnsville Buildings Of Chief dons. To Be Removed . The HomansTille buildings of the Chief. Cons. Mining company have been purchased by the Origgs-Huls- h Leasing company and will soon be torn down and removed, the material being used in the erection of other buildings at the leasing company's mill. The Chief Cons, people erected these buildings at the time they were doing extensive work on the Homansville tract of mineral land and they have not been used to any extent since.
