The Rick and Renon Bybee family, Ferriiand Ruesch and Peggy Pitts all went to Parowan to see John Ruesch put in as Bishop of the Parowan 4th Ward. John is FerrilancTs son and Renon and Peggy's brother. It was a pleasant trip and they went to support John in his new calling. We send our congratulations to the family. Congratulations to Danielle Brinkerhoff on her decision to be baptized. She was baptized by her father, Tyson Brinkerhoff. Her mother, Kayce and brothers, TJ and Rafe were there to lend their support. Danielle is the granddaughter of Danny and Wendy Brinkerhoff and Bart and Peggy Palmer. She is the great granddaughter of Ora Brinkerhof, John and Claudia Niemann, Afton and Dell Rae Pollock, and Gloria Hayden. This is always a momentous time in the lives of the eight year old and we send our congratulations to Danielle. Sacrament Meeting this Sunday was to welcome home Cody Brown from his mission to California. He spoke and told some very interesting stories and you could tell he enjoyed his mission very much. He had his parents, Bob and Beverly Syrett of Bryce, and father, Robert Dan Brown and his wife Jeanie of Las Vegas. There were many friends and family members in attendance and all attended a luncheon in his honor after the meeting. His grandfather Kay Willis and his wife, Kathy were here from Manti to support Cody and welcome him home. Shantel and Joe Watt came from Las Vegas to hear cousin Cody and welcome him home also. The family thanks all in attendance and appreciates their support, We welcome you home too Cody. You did a great job. Reed Le Fevre also spoke at this meeting and then we heard a musical number. The six girls who sang sounded like angels, they were Anne Marie, Jacque, Audrey, Jessica, Katie, and Tanya. They sang "Daughter of God". It was done beautifully and we would like to hear more, Called as an Assistant Scout Master was Gary Syrett of Bryce. We congratulate you Gary. You are going to be busy now. We were also reminded ofthe "Scouting for Food" campaign due the 24th and to be sure to pick up our bags.. The people who attended the Relief Society Birthday Dinner had nothing but praise for the evening. The food was good and so was the entertainment. Thanks to those responsible for making for the pleasant evening. It was a lot of work, The Family and friends of Glenna Fletcher met at the Cannonville Park and helped her to celebrate her birthday. She wanted a Green Dinner so everyone tried to make their food green and it was fun. Husband Larry was there with her as were their children and their families and assorted other relatives. J. J. Dunham paid her a compliment when he said that his "Honorary Grandma" was 28 and holding. Happy Birthday Glenna. Hunter and Rachael Sheedy came down to visit with Gary and Sandy Johnson. Rachael is their daughter. Hunter has a remote control airplane that he flew over Henrieville that took pictures and was really awesome Sandy said. They also went to Kodachrome and hiked and visited the arch and many other sights in the area. A Court of Honor was held on Sunday and Brent Me Cormick received his Star Badge, Trevor Pierson, Lonnie Comp, and J.J. Dunham all received their Life Patches. The boys were given applications to earn their Eagle Award so we wish them luck in their endeavors, In Cannonville Sacrament meeting Jeff Johnson was a speaker. Ken and Jean Hall also spoke and it was a delightful meeting. Congratulations to the new babies who have just been born. Carlon and Heather Johnson welcome beautiful Isabella Vivian to their home. She weighed 8 lbs. and 4 ozs. Older sister Jordan is delighted to have a new sister since now she won't be the only girl with three brothers. Grandparents are Guy and Beverly Thompson of Henrieville and the Johnsons of Panguitch. Brady and Sarah Bradshaw of Lubbock, Texas also welcomed a handsome new baby boy, Reagan Brady Bradshaw who came in at 7 lbs. even. He joins a brother and a sister. Gary and Sandy Johnson are the grandparents. Congratulations to everyone. Thanks to everyone who has shared their news.
