The descendants of Ruby and Minnie Syrett family held their first Family Reunion on January 12 -15th at Ruby's Inn. There were many people in attendance and all were enjoying themselves. They shared genealogy and stories. There were games and crafts for the kids while the adults watched slide shows on the family history. The food was excellent and so was the company. My personal favorite and I am sure other feels this too, was listening to Grandma Jean Syrett share stories of the family. We sat in a circle and it was great listening to her as she shared her memories of the past. Congratulations go out to the Convention Center Staff for a fine job of the food and meeting rooms, to Tracy Syrett for the pictures, to Rod Syrett for all his hard work on getting the Family History together, and to Sharon Syrett who spent a great deal of time putting all the details together so everyone could enjoy the Reunion, and to Jean Seiler for getting the wonderful shirts made up. If I have forgotten anyone our thanks to you also. It was great seeing everyone and visiting. Not sure of the numbers but guess it would be well over 150 people in attendance. Gary and Sandy Johnson went to Bountiful, Utah to attend the funeral of Sandy's aunt, Okla Lifferth. It was good to see all the family and friends come out and support the Lifferth family. Our condolences to Sandy and the family on their loss. m FAIRWAY Independent Mortgage Corporation Experts in FHA, VA and Conventional financing. 1st and 2 nd Mortgages Foreclosures Tax Liens • Debt Consolidation Bankruptcy Home Improvement Loans 1-866-896-0113 • 60 east 100 north, Suite 3 • Richfield, UT.
