It was a big success! The profits will be used to add additional books to our Elementary Library. Roger and Kelly (a niece) Sellers came to visit with Charlie and Eva Dean Francisco. They brought son Jeff and his cousin. They went rabbit hunting and had a great time. A nephew, Ryan Webster and his new bride came to the Franciscos to stay and Honeymoon in the Bryce area. By Veda Halt In all my years of eating Thanksgiving dinner, many at relative's homes, I have never heard of a case of food poisoning because of poor food handling. I wonder if it is because most women in our area do read hints about food handling that make sense. Whatever the case, here are the simple rules that most of us already know and perhaps review each year in some article like this. 1. Stuff Turkey last and loosly. Make sure the stuffing reaches 165 degrees in all places. 2. Cook Turkey to 165 degrees and be very careful using some slow-cooking receipe. Yes, the turkey will be tender and should be safe, if at first heated for at least an hour at a higher heat. ^ r 3., Don't add additional food to dishes on table. Put them in clean dishes. 4. Keep additional food cold or, if to be served hot, in a 200 degree oven until needed. Siudia & Att G 5.Store leftovers within two hours.
