Show SPORTS Brawl between UVU fans, NMSU students follows comeback win By Kyle Spencer Sports Editor @kyledspencer As Utah Valley men's basketball was winding down the closing seconds of its biggest win of the season, Wolverine fans rushed the court, and the reigning Western Athletic Conference champion New Mexico State Aggies lashed out. Utah Valley outscored NMSU 13-8 in overtime to regain sole possession of first place in the WAC with a 66-61 win, but it was a brawl between UVU students and Aggies players that overshadowed the basketball game. The win for Utah Valley didn't come easy. Chuk Mitchell had to withdraw from the race early with an injury, which limited the Wolverines chances. However, runners Chris Brower and Jason Lynch played a key role in the victory by placing fourth and fifth. UVU ATHLETICS UVU Athletics events on campus now free with student ID By Kyle Spencer Sports Editor @kyledspencer In an effort to improve student involvement and home attendance, Utah Valley Athletics has decided to include admission to all of its home events in the fees students already pay.
