Show • MANIFESTO HEX is a new community based publication being funded by Utah Valley University. The purpose of these pages is to highlight the vibrancy of the arts in the valley, kindle ideas for creative living, affirm the attractiveness of the community and expand the scope of its members by promoting urban and suburban exploration. The publication is primarily about people—how we interact with each other and how We can't make this happen without you. As a community based publication we need your perspective. We're looking for poetry, short stories, opinions, observations, sketches, paintings, photographs and short stories of any shape or size. This publication is as much yours as it is ours. we interact with the valley. By highlighting individuals, focusing on their unique talents and contibutions, we hope to knit the community more tightly together. The primary goal of this publication is to become an adhesive—binding the people in the Valley to the things that make in beautiful. And there are beautiful things everywhere. Sundance is offering a professionally guided tour of the beautiful winter landscapes surrounding the resort. While snowshoeing, owls will be called to the trail by wildlife experts. Thanksgiving Point offers classes for those interesting in improving their cooking abilities, and this week the focus is on homemade bagels. The instructor, Frieda Franchina, will demonstrate to the class how to make the perfect New York style bagel.
