Training in vocals since kindergarten, this experienced vocalist now has over 30 years of voice teaching experience and is the Vocal Coach for the Hope of America Student Chorus. A resident of Utah since 1996, Bonner has been singing at Showtime Utah since last October and captivating audiences there with her beautiful and powerful voice' combined with a charming personality. Her renditions of "My Funny Valentine," "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," and "It Don't Mean A Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)" among many others, are jaw dropping and moving. It is difficult not to be impressed by her vocal abilities. She will even do some scatting here and there to create that true jazz experience with the help of jazz pianist McCray. McCray is a native of New Orleans with an extensive career as a jazz pianist. This very talented jazz musician entertains audiences with his lively music and his witty, likable personality. He will also perform a Courtesy of Don LaVange piece called "The Cart Before the Horse: An Experiment in Radical Pedagogy" in LA 127 this Wednesday. Caldiero, described by the Mestizo as a "Sonosopher, wordshaker, polyartist, and scholar of humanities and intermedia," has verbally performed his stylistic writings on campus several times during the last school year. Caldiero's audiences are generally anchored by a core group of his current and former students as well as locals from both Utah and Salt Lake counties. However, many other students and faculty members also stop in to appreciate his unique, moving performances.
