Show prof weber made report regarding eureka bullion pa prof J H weber makes the fol lowing report upon a recent trip to the eureka bullion mine in this dia dis brict the shaft Is down feet A crosscut was started northeast to cut a large north and south vein op ened on the surface by a tunnel at feet the vein was struck and is 12 feet wide and contains 28 per cent iron some gold silver lead manganese mangS nese and calcite the vein shows the pay ore has leached to fo greater depths but it proves the larg er north and south vein which makes the big ore bodies it Is the same material that overlaid the standard ore body and many of the ore bodies in tintic gintic the eureka lily can run a drift feet and tap this vein 1200 feet deep the north lily has nearly 2000 feet on the strike of this north and south vein there are several known east and west veins crossing the eureka bul lion and at or near these junctions bodies of pay ore should make As says have been obtained running from a trace to 4 per cent lead 18 ounces silver and 60 of an ounce gold |
