A lot of students get through a few semesters and still feel unsure about declaring. If you think being undecided puts you behind the curve, be at ease. These are the facts. Employers look for transferable skills—writing, communication, teamwork, critical thinking ability. Any major will give you transferable skills. 2. Students that choose a major in line with their interests get better grades, make better connections, learn more, and acquire more skills. 3. The world is changing every day, and so are you. A solid foundation in thinking and communication skills will take you far, regardless of demand. 4. Yes, there's a major for that interest. Talk to someone who does what you're interested in, or meet with an advisor at University College to find out how to get a degree in the stuff that makes you tick. 5. There's no such thing as the wrong major. Your major should accentuate you, not define you. Pick the major that sounds the most intriguing to you right now.
