Living out of cars, buses and trailers, these people literally pack their entire lives into these mobile living quarters to pursue the outdoors. 23 FEET --- ""1111111111 TOWERS OF THE ENNEDI 5 "Towers of the Ennedi" Africa's Ennedi Desert is home to some of the most breathtaking rock formations in the world. Towers of sandscoured stone rise hundreds of feet above the desert floor, and director Renan Ozturk decided to bring rock climbers Alex Honnold and James Pearson to Africa to film them conquering the mammoth spires of the Ennedi. "The Freedom Chair" For Josh Dueck, skiing was his entire world. That world came crashing down in 2004 when an accident on the slopes paralyzed him from the waist down. Director Mike Douglas' "The Freedom Chair" takes a personal look at Dueck's recovery and his conquering of the slopes once again via sit-skiing. From his time as a competitive sit-ski racer to his eventual foray into the steep backcountry, the film captures the highs and lows of Dueck's journey to recapture the hobby he loves. tRg-gLIES "Spoil" Director Trip Jennings' "Spoil," which won the festival award for best film in mountain environment, explores the natural landscape of British Columbia through the eyes of photographers. They were sent to catalogue the environment in opposition of a proposed oil pipeline set to be run through the area. Guided by the Gitga'at people who live in the area, the film captures the beauty of the local wildlife. THE FREEDOM CHAIR "Kadoma" Hendri Coetzee was a kayaker known far and wide for his exploits taming some of the wildest rivers in Africa. Coetzee, known by many as "Kadoma," set out to kayak across the war-torn Congo in director Ben Stookesberry's film. With Coetzee's death marking the end of the journey, "Kadoma" represents the legendary kayaker's final great adventure. "Hanuman Airlines: Fly over Everest" Few people have what it takes to scale the tallest mountain in the world. Fewer still recognize that the ascent is only half the journey. For two Nepalese men, conquering Everest is merely the beginning of their journey. With the help of Vayu, the Hindu lord of winds, their ultimate goal is to climb the mountain and launch a paraglider from its peak to reach an ocean about which they have only heard, never seen. Director Guido Perrini attempts to capture the pure adrenaline of de Le Rue's winter season in "This is My Winter." The film captures the insanity of sheer drops, where even the smallest of stumbles could be the difference between life and death. "On the Trail of Genghis Khan: The Last Frontier" The nomads of Asia traveled from one end of the continent to the other for hundreds of years. Director Tim Cope's fascination with these nomads led him to undertake the journey of a lifetime. Riding on horseback from Mongolia to Hungary, Cope filmed his trek along the path of the famed conqueror Genghis Khan.
