Show Friday, April 15, 2011 UTE REP Vol. 2 I No. 26 ©2011 Presented by DAILY UTAH CHRONICLE WEEKEND GUIDE ir ARE YOU READY Red-White game kicks off Saturda Jake Hibbard ASST. SPORTS EDITOR The Utes will wrap up spring ball with Saturday's eighth-annual RedWhite game at Rice-Eccles Stadium, their third scrimmage in as many weeks. The offense will head into Saturday as the question mark on everyone's mind—the offense turned the ball over five times during Monday's scrimmage, something head coach Kyle Whittingham said must improve. Of all three scrimmages the Utes play in the spring, the Red-White W game is the one most fit for spect tors. As opposed to the more practic style format of the first two this year, the Red-White game will split into four, io-minute halves with stoppage in the first half and a running clock in the second. Even though the game is set up to be fun for fans, there is still much left up in the air for fall that coaches will be looking to sort out. "It's not just entertainment for the fans," Whittingham said. "I mean, we've got to see some good execution offensively."
