MI ES of 1 TO PAY TWICE 1 MONTHLY employees of chief cons vot ed unanimously in favor of this change other mines will also fall into line only one man at the chief cons mine voted against the proposition of making a change in the manner of paying employees all other cm em ot of the company favor avor two pay days each month the matter was submitted to the men on wed of this week at which time the mine officials expressed their willingness to put the new system in to effect if a majority of the employ ees favored it ithe he tange will mean some extra itic 0 o 1 n the office of the company but atit vw will ili be bene tidal to the the chief cons company ifil feel well repaid it Is generally understood that the semi monthly pay day will be adopt ed by all of the mines of the district and that the old custom ot of assigning over wages will go into the discard yesterday employees ot of the eagle blue bell mine took a vote on the proposition ot of changing the system ot of paying and practically all of the men favored two pay days a month some of the other mines will make the change without putting it to a vote
