Temple. Heber City, UT- Our beloved father, grandfather, and friend, Elmer Tidwell, age 95, passed away Monday, April 30, 2001 in Bountiful, Utah. Born September 21, 1905 in daughter, Brittany Ann, to Nicholas Robert Long, gon of Robert and Gail Long of Alpine, Utah on Saturday, May 12, in the Salt Lake Temple. A reception will be held in their honor that evening from 6:30 until 8:30 at the Deer Creek Island Resort. In case of an oversight, all friends are invited to attend. | Brittany is a 1999 graduate of Wasatch High School and the former Miss Wasatch County. Nick graduated from American Fork High School and served an LDS mission in Curitiba Brazil. Davidson has been called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of | Latter-day Saints. Andy is the son of Robert and Shelly Davidson. OBITUARY OBITUARY Mary Miller Clyde D. Wall Mary Wallsburg—Clyde D. Wall, age 76, passed . away Saturday evening, May 4, 2001 in Orem, & Utah. He was born on July 5, 1924 in - Wallsburg, Utah to Amasa and Ethel Gardner , Wall. He married Julia Ruth Ercanbrack on Feb. 9, 1945. Their marriage was later solemnized in the S. L. Temple. Grew up in Wallsburg, graduated from Wasatch High School in May of 1942. Served in the U.S. = Air Force as a tail gunner ona B-o2 during World War 11. Survived by his children: Gloria (Mike) Sicle of Highland, Ut; Judy (Alan) Cottle of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; Dale (Becky) Wall of Blackfoot, ID; Dean (Phyllis) Wall of San Ramon, CA; Grandchildren; Brian Lees, Justin Lees, Will Steele, Sherry Cottle, Kevin Cottle, Jason Cottle, Kristin Abboud, Lori Cottle, Paige Harris, Brandon Wall, Joshua Wall, Krista Wall, Calle Wall, Zachary Wall, Colby Wall. 10 eRe Also survived by his sister;Bernice Olson of California. | - Preceded in death by his wife, parents. She was born October 30, 1924 in N eae de upon Tyne, England to Thomas and Helen Wood Thirlwell. She married John Louis Miller in Pinedale, Wyoming on March 10, 1951. Enjoyed knitting doll clothes, which have been bought all over the state of Utah. Made a reputation for them at Duchesne while there for nineteen years where John was employed with the Bureau of Reclamation. Really enjoyed her trips to Wendover waiting for the megabucks to roll. — Survived by her husband of Heber City; daughters; Anne Ivie and Pete Ashby of Daniels, Utah; Lynne and Bill Gillett of Heber City; 7 grand-. children and 14 great-grandchildren, Preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 11 AM at the Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, 288 No. Main, Heber City.. Cremation followed the service in the care of Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home. He grew up in the Uintah Basin area.’ Married Minerva Sweat July 1927 in Vernal, Utah. Later soleminzed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. _. Elmer worked for the U.S. Forrest Service for 42 years before retiring in 1966. A member of the LDS church serv_ing in various capacities, including being a home teacher until he passed _ away. He was also belonged to the NARFE, the ARP, and was an active member of the Senior Citizens Group in Heber City. His favorite pastune was being outdoors either fishing or hunting. Elmer was a kind and generous person. He would belp anyone in need financially or otherwise, and had an especially tender heart for a young mother with children. His wonderful sense of humor was always present and made you feel warm and welcome. Most important in his life was his family. His grandchildren knew they were ''The apple of his eye". We will miss him greatly. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Minerva; three children, | Arnold S, Von William, and Deloras May Wilson; one grandson Randy Stanley; one brother and four sisters. Survivors include two sons, Clyde (Hanna); Loyd (Gladys): 11 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. _ Funeral services were held Monday, May 7 - 11:00-A.M. in the Heber LDS 3rd Ward Chapel Interment services were in the North Ogden City Cemetery, North Ogden, Utah at approximately 2:30 PM. The family would like to offer special thanks to Vista Care Hospice at Bountiful for the kindness and love they have shown to Elmer.
