Earlier this. year, Binggeli Rock and Gravel proposed building the plant as part of an expansion plan for its cement and gravel operations. While county and township Siicals approved the expansion, the asphalt plant was turned down after fierce public outcry. _ At the last Board of Adjustment meeting in October, a decision on the appeal was put off after attorneys for residents opposing the plant submitted reams of documents supporting their position.
