Born March 7, 1942, the ‘daughter of Jesse Albert and Ettie Bonita f Noble Spray. Married Lowell W. Hillyard May 4, 1983 in Reno, Nevada. Know as Granny to everyone, her grandchildren meant everything to her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew, and loved her. She is preceded in death by both parents, brother Stephen David Spray, and sister ae Cel Haidy, and step-son Steven Hillyard. At the time of her death, she was —— by her | family. . _. with lots of friends and family there. Her par- _. 1, 2000 She was oe Odohe 10, 1933 in Midway, — Utah to William and Mildred Johnson Larsen. She married Neil Christensen on November 2; 1952, in Elko, Nevada. The marriage was. later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. “She grew up in Midway, attending local schools and graduated from Wasatch High School. She traveled the world with her husband while he was in the military. A faithful member of the LDS Church, serving as District Primary President in Okinawa, and five times as Ward Primary President, Relief Society Counselor, many teaching positions, and Stake Missionary. She sang _ with the Bountiful Chapter of the Sweet Adelines for over 25 years. She was the co-founder of the Notable Youth Foundation. A talented seamstress, musical composer, producer, and accomplished artist sharing her talents with her community, family, and friends. In addition to all of these accomplishments, 3 she brought joy to many with her artistic cake design for weddings and special occasions. Above all, she was a wonderful wife, and mother. She is survived by husband, Neil Christensen, children Michael (Sandra) , Christensen, Steven (Patti) Christensen, Marcie Dutton, Catherine Wells, and Paul (Rachel) Christensen; 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sisters JoAnne Bonner and Wilma Chavez; and, brother Melvin Larsen. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 30, 2000 - 1:00 p.m. at the Willow Creek 6th LDS Ward Chapel, 2115 East Sublette Place (8350 South), Sandy, Utah. Friends may call on Sunday, October 29 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at | the LDS Chapel, and one hour prior to the services at the LDS a on Moe. Entombment will be in the Salt Lake Mausoleum. OBITUARY 5 Don G. Smith Heber City, UT- Don G. Smith died Saturday, October 28, 2000 at his home in Heber City, Utah. Born October 23, 1925 in Heber City, Utah the son of Earl. H. and Annie May Giles Smith. He attended school in Heber, graduating in 1944. Operated Wasatch Market in Heber City with his family. Don was instrumental in organizing Heber . City’s Little League Baseball Program, and built the first Little League ball diamond, © called “Don’s Little Park.” Volunteer fireman ~ for 25 years. Worked 20 years for the State Department of Aina Retired: due to ill health. Married Normalind Taylor in 1946. Together they raised four wonderful children who survive | him; Bonnie (Jerry) Davis of Heber City; Vaughn (Georgette) Smith of Scottsdale, AZ; Jerry D. (Julie) Smith of Heber City; and Blair (Vickie) Smith | of Heber City; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also, survived _ by brothers, Jay (Donna) Buehler, Doyle (Arlene) Smith, Jerry W. (Glenna) Smith, and Blaine (LaNeva) Smith, all of Heber City.. Sisters, Pauline . (G.M.”Fitz”) Fitzgerald of Midvale; and Gwenn (Ken) Unthank of Pleasant Grove. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, and sister Ella Mae Smith. Thanks to the Hospice personnel who have been here to help our family. They have been very kind and caring. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2000 - 11:00 a.m. at Olpin - Hoopes Funeral Home, 288, North Main Street, Heber City, Utah.
