GLETS TUESDAY te Fire Station on Leased Land The Courier learned earlier this week that the new fire station in the — Jordanelle Basin is being built upon leased land. United Park City Mines ~ Company is the leasor. _ The annual rent expense which must be paid in advance is $10,000. The county does not begin paying rent until the year 2009. After 2003 there will be rent adjustments based upon the percentage increase in the ENR Building Cost Index. The Jordanelle Special Service District (JSSD) will pay all property — taxes for the land and improvements built upon the land. The JSSD is allowed to sub-lease the property to the Wasatch County Fire tion of its water system. The lease was signed by Commissioner Provost. EOI and re-take possession of the property. — If the property is sold, the JSSD does not bite the first right of refusal to purchase the property. HEBER - In last week’s Heber City Council meeting Heber City was presented a in-depth analysis of the road surface situation for the entire city. Utah Technology Transfer Center (T2) provided the city with a look at Heber’s roads, street -by-street, highlighting problem areas and future repair spots.
