You'll never have a better op- Cruising appears to be on the upswing in the United States. After taking a seven-da- y cruise on the Princess Carla from Los Angeles to Mexico, I can understand why. It's alxult the ultimate in luxury living, with Italian waiters plying you with gour-ne- t delicacies, gala parties almost every night and all kinds of shipboard activities, which you can participate in or not, portunity to show them off. If its relaxation you want, there' plenty of opportunity by the poolside, where you can soak up the sun and just enjoy the ocean. We had box lunches from the ship and almost everyone d saved an orange, apple, egg or piece of chicken to give to the children who sat at a distance watching with big dark eyes while we ate.
