ART CLASSES And it is being found these days at the Central City Center, where classes in crafts and painting are going on. Yes . . . both young and old from Salt Lakes disadvantaged areas are discovering the wonderful things that can be done with a box full of oil paints; a kit full of modeling clay; a colorful bit of yam. We know because we saw it firsthand the other day. And we talked with Mrs. Shirley Woodward, director of the center, who told us all about - it. ed so much. Actually, this is the main idea behind the entire Central City Center, just as it is the basic philosophy behind the arts and crafts classes. Better education is our goal, said Shirley Woodward. Miss Jill Stephenson Is Engaged Fort Douglas Hidden Valley Country Club was the setting today for an announcement party at which news of the betrothal of Miss Jill Stephenson was disclosed. She and Mark Hlndley Greene III will be wed June 18 in a ceremony to be solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. is a daughter of Dr. and The bride-eleMrs. Robert E. Stephenson, 730 Hilltop Rd. That evening they will be further feted at a reception at the Lion House. Miss Stephenson was graduated cum laude from the University of Utah. She served as vice president and treasurer of Alpha Chi Omega, and was an officer of Symphony Debs while on campus. She also was a member of Pi Delta Phi, Little Sisters of Minerva and the Ute Charity Drive committee. Jill Stephenson Mr. Greene is a student at the U. of U., where he is a member of Delta Phi Kappa and the programs committee of LDS Student Association. He is a graduate of Outward Bound School, Marble, Colo., and the National Outdoor Leadeiship School, Lander, Wyo. I can just see the role I am going to have to play to compensate for the free rooms. Im sure my cousin wouldnt expect me to do all the cooking and housework, but what woman can move in on two people and not offer to do some work? As for fashion, I dont put too much stock in trends. I wear what I feel I look good in. If your legs are unattractive, then, for heavens sake, dont wear a mini just because it's the trend! I have a few about shopping habits. Dont buy clothes in a hurry. They may look highly fashionable, but when you get home, you may find they look ghastly. And never shop with a friend, shop alone.
