The Salina Sun The Gunnison Valley News Accent on People Patricia Yardtey will serve mission in Japan Patricia Yardley has been called to serve in the Japan Okayama Mission. She is the daughter of John and Sofia Yardley, of Ccntcrfield. Patricia is a graduate of Gunnison Valley High School, College of Business, State College. Utah Southern and Her Farewell will be held December 1 1, 1988 at 10:40 a.m. in the Centerfield Second Ward. She will report to the MTC on December An Open House will be held in her honor following the Church services, from 2:30 to 5 p.m. at her home. She has also finished Dental Auxiliary Training School in Logan. She is currently attending the Dental Hygiene program at Weber State, where she is studying for a degree as a Dental Hygienist Dale graduated from Gunnison High School. He served in the London England Mission for 27 months. He is now attending Snow College, where he is studying for a degree in Business. Bruce and Myrl Dean Bown are happy to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Sue Ann, to Dale Whitlock, son of Steven and Susan Anderson and the late Glen A. Whitlock. Dale and Sue Ann will be married in the Manti LDS Temple on December 17, 1988. A reception to honor the newlyweds will be held in the Manti Stake Center that same night. Sue Ann is a graduate of Brenda Lund chosen to be Congressional Scholar . Georgia Lynn Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mr. Stuart Johnson, of Aurora, will marry Kirt A. Palmer, son of John and Berry Frankland, of Stansbury Park, and Laurence and Leona Palmer, of Salt Lake City. They will be married Friday, December 16, 1988 in the Manti LDS Temple. A reception will honor the couple Friday, evening, December 16, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Aurora LDS Cultural Hall. The event is open to all friends and relatives. As a Congressional Scholar, Brenda will be one of a select group of high school students who will participate in this program, distinguishing her as one of the nations outstanding young leaders.
