Forest campgrounds and areas are gearing up to receive the large influx of holiday visitors, according to Stan Tixier, Regional Forester. Those who camp are reminded that there is a 16 consecutive day camping limitation. This is being enforced to prevent people from leaving their camping equipment on the forest lands for most of the summer. In many cases they occupy popular camping areas that others would like to use during the season. Some plan to relax and enjoy activities such as Fishing. Others will want to begin collecting firewood for next winters use. Many areas are extremely dry with high Fire danger. To reduce Fire hazard, be sure that all chain saws have spark arresters in working order and be careful with all hot or burning materials. Firewood permits are required in all national forests and must be obtained before cutting or collecting the wood. Maps Men's City Softball 3.
