The Salina EMT members under the leadership of Brett Shaw are.doing the blood pressure testing. The Senior Citizens were privileged to have Mrs. Dee (Bernice) Lau do the testing. The Redmond Senior Citizens program has now been closed. Redmond will continue to receive Meals on Wheels from the Center in Salina, and they are welcome to participate in the congregate meals held at the Center. The Senior Citizens of Salina area extend a hand of welcome to all Senior Citizens in Redmond to join with them for all senior activities. This will consolidate all three communities, Aurora, Redmond and Salina at the one Center in Salina. This will make the boundaries coterminous with the north Sevier boundaries. Due to a shortage of funds, it is now suggested that the donatio for the noonday meals at the center be changed to $1.50 per meal. This is still a bargain for a meal that costs $4.75 to prepare. Drawings for elk, deer set by DWR On Friday, August 5, at 9 a.m. the Division of Wildlife Resources will begin the drawings for deer, elk, and antelope permits.
