married Pearlctta Nielson Aug 26 1934 Elsinore later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple Always an example to this family — a great husband a grand Dad a grandfather and Always a gentleman LaVcrl was a master watch maker and owned a watch shop in Richfield for many years He loved music For several cars he played in a band Saturday nights at Shady Dell Many will remember "Curly" plajing the sax or clarinet and also the piano He was a member of the LDS Church and loved the Gospel He served in every auxiliary of the church As a young father of three he served a mission to Winnipeg Canada He was bishop of the Glcnwood Ward for six years and also served on the Sevier LDS Stake high council When Pearlctta and LaVcrl retired they served together on a mission to New Zealand as ordinance workers
