newest addition to the music program at the School sic as well as genuine bluegrass music This blend of music goes back to the very beginnings of the state of Utah This traditional mountain music telling the true story of Marianne Alircza who spent many years in an Arabian harem Marianne lived for 12 years in a female group composed of her mother-in-lachildren and servants where men outside the family could not penetrate and where women could never join the men socially or be seen in public without veils Although she learned to love her Arabian family Marianne was divorced by her husband invitation of Robert Dcbbaut director of orchestras at University of Utah His invitation came at the recommendation of Richfield High School director Barry Erickson The orchestra performed at Gardner
