Show Davidsons Keep Busy The past five weeks have been busy and eventful for Dr. and Mrs. Halvard J. Davidson. Hans Arthur Davidson, age 85, paralyzed for the past 12 years, fell on November 10th fracturing and badly shattering his left hip. He was rendered first aid by his physician son, Dr. Halvard J. Davidson and then rushed to the Utah Valley Hospital for surgery and intensive care for three weeks. The surgery has been success Pit in stabilizing the severe fracture. His recovery has been slow and painful. He is now in the Sanpete Valley Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, for prolonged extensive care and physiotherapy. His rehabilitation is proving slow and difficult because of his paralysis and advanced age. He remains mentally clear and manages to keep his sense of humor, joking with the nurses and his family. Davidson, 23 years ago, has now had her second daughter delivered by her father. Emily Goodwin was born November 23 at the Sanpete Valley Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, with her father Byron Goodwin in attendance. The little miss weighed 8 lbs. 11 oz. She was welcomed home by an older sister Jessica. Paternal grandmother is Mrs. Audrey Goodwin. Maternal grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. Davidson. First Baby a Girl On December 8th Mrs. Mark Warner (Jane Davidson), also delivered by her father. Dr. H. 2l'i years ago, eave birth to her first child, Elizabeth Jane Warner. The petite little girl weighed 8 lbs. 3Vi oz. was brought into the world her grandfather by Davidson at the Sanpete Valley Hospital in Mt. Pleasant. Father Mark T. Warner was in attendance. Paternal grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. Ross Warner of Salt Lake City. Maternal grandparents are Dr. J. Davidson 60th Wedding Dr. and Mrs. Halvard J. Davidson and Rebecca were in Ogden, Utah, on December 18th to help celebrate the 60th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Joseph Smith the parents of Mrs. Davidson. A reception was held at Wedding World, hosted and catered by granddaughter and Mrs. Mr. and husband, Michael Morrelli. Spotlight was on a wedding cake topped by a large 10 inch glass-blowreplica of the Salt Lake Temple. The cake was designed by Lucy Ann Morrelli. The beautiful Christmas decorations added to the warmth and beauty of the Snow College library, and the various Snow College music groups brought the full spirit and meaning of Christmas out with their marvelous singing and musical renditions.
