Utah Power & Light Co. said there have been a number of reports of CB base station antennas dangerously close to high voltage transmission and distribution lines. The company cautions people to look up and look out when handling large and unwieldy antennas. The antenna should be tied-of- f with a rope so that if it were to fall during installation or removal there would be no chance of touching power lines. And all antennas should be grounded properly to insure safety and additional protection against lightning. By locating the antenna away from power lines, the CBer not only avoids possible electrocution, but helps reduce interference. Utah Power encourages CB dealers to warn equipment purchasers of the dangers of careless antenna handling. mid-wif- mid-wif- e Ephraims Dusty Riders will soon be having the first of several summer trail rides. Legion Meets Page Take Care When Installing Craftwork Means Much To Caroline Mills 'Tata' Shares Her Favorite Brazilian Recipes "Pasteis ii Although Vania Marta Cam-argBethke, better known as Tata , has traveled extensively through Europe and even Antarctica, whe claims that she loves Ephraim and has not been bored while living here. Tata, as everyone knows, is a foreign exchange student from Brazil. 1 have much more freedom here than I had in Brazil, she said. Ive been able to choose my own classes and have enjoyed living in a small town very much. Tatas home town is Sao Bernardo, Brazil, which is a hugh city, but her current home while living here is with the Donald Dobson family. When asked what some of the hardest things to get used to were, Tatas first answer was the language and learning to speak it. It's also hard to get used to not having maids. Everyone in Brazil has maids, except the very poor. The houses are much smaller here and there are no high walls around the houses or guard dogs. Another thing that puzzles Tata is that the Americans let drive. In Brazil the age required for obtaining a drivers license is 18. One of Tata's favorite things about America is the food. She especially likes the American style pies and doughnuts, which are made differently here than in Brazil. But she also stated that the American cheeseburger was the best shed ever tasted, anywhere. Following are two of Tata's favorite Brazilian recipes. Pasteis (Brazilian sandwich) 2 large Tbsp. butter Vi tsp. salt dissolved in 1 cup of water 2 egg yolks 2 cups flour Mix together and roll out as you would pie crust.
