Judd of Miami Beach, Fla. died Dec. 1, 1976 at the Gunnison Valley Hospital. Services will be held in the Manti Center-Nort- Ward h Chapel Saturday at 1 p.m. Russell H. Denison Mrs. Stanley Brox received word Nov. 20 of the death of her half brother, Russell H. Denison, 58, of Lawton, Ok. He died of a heart condition. Mr. Denison was born in Sterling Aug. 14, 1918, a son of Edward and Ina Edwards Denison. He was a member of the Manti National Guard and left Manti with that unit at the time of Pearl Harbor. Funeral and burial services were held Nov. 23 at Lawton, Ok. The Daughters of Utah Pion- eers held their November meeting at the home of LeFern D. Johnson, who was hostess. Mrs. Johnson is also secretary to the organization. Mrs. Arlisha Larson is still a patient at the Gunnison Valley Hospital. Mrs. Caroline Mills is at home again following a short stay at the Sanpete Valley off-roa- al Transportation Red Cross Blood Now Available as Needed LeFern D. Johnson is spending a few days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sherril Anderson in Fairview since her release from the hospital. Blood obtained by the Sanpete County Chapter of the American Red Cross at blood draws in Sanpete County Oct. 18, 19, 20 and 21 has been processed and is now available at the 45 hospitals in Red Cross served in Utah, southwestern Wyoming, southeastern Idaho and eastern Nevada, according to Douglas G. ODonnell, Peterson were pleased to have several friends and relatives join them for Thanksgiving dinner. Some of those attending were Ivan and Joan Munk and family of Payson, Tony and Mary Ann Peterson of Manti, Lee and administrator of the Intermountain Red Cross Blood Center in Salt Lake City, Dale and Shirley Mr. O'Donnel informed Sanpete Red Cross officers that local communities will be provided with blood at anytime in any hospital within the region and many hospitals served by Red Cross throughout the nation. He added that any person in Sanpete County needing blood in a Red Cross serviced hospital should contact Mrs. Gwen Jacobson, Ephraim, Sanpete blood program chairman., Hanging by his feet 40 feet above the ground, Harry Houdini was able to free himself from a straitjacketl released in September, 1975.
