A defensive assignments both responded challenge as they limited Sanpetes two sharpest shoot- and Rod Rowley. Jed DeMill and Randy Clark also saw game time. The game was one of those where reserve power showed up in the fourth quarter with MHS hitting 20 points as the Hawks got 8. A highlight of the evening ers to meager point totals. Denton shadowed Rick Gundry, allowing only three points, while David Blackham managed only six points from Conner, but ended the game with 10. Jensen, a Hawk reserve, also hit for 10. Center Doug Nielsen, Kirk Abegglen, was the traditional Pep The Snow College Badgers will be going against two fine league opponents this week-Ut- ah Technical College from Provo, and Ricks Junior College from Rexburg. Both teams have winning records coming into this weeks contest. Provo is 5 and 1 now with a great win over Ricks early in the year. Ricks has a 6 and 2 record also with wins over Idaho State and Utah State J.V.s. Provo has a good shooting team with great quickness. The Badgers will have to be especially quick and alert to contain them. Ricks has a great Kim looking squad with 0 Childs at center and Todd Anderson and Randy Rhodes at each, both players from Utah County. Their guard line has the leagues leading scorer in Wally Foster. Wally is averaging 20 points a game. The Badgers will be starting Stan Nielsen at one guard position and Les DeYoung at center. These two players have been very consistent in preseason play. Other possible starters are sophomore Lee n Rastus dance at half-timJon Howell, Stacy Rasmussen and Corinne Frischknecht gave a demonstration of double-jointe- d flexibility and rhythm in a well performed act. At this time MHS and Richfield stand tied at with Millard and North Sanpete and Juab and South Sevier Millard defeated Juab by 12 at Nephi last week, and poses as a real threat to the Templars this Friday. The Golden Eagles are led by Dave McKee, a great athlete, and have good size this season. Badgers Meet Top Foes this Weekend Burck or freshman Ruben Soto. The forwards could be Scott Whittier, Golden Holt, or Les Rosenvall. All of the Badgers have shown poise and hustle.
