Show 4 Ladies 9 Golf Manti Messenger Manti, Utah July 10, 1975 Margie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. LeGrand Olson of Ephraim. She is a 1973 graduate of Manti High School and also graduated from the Manti LDS Seminary. She has also been an active participant in many functions at Snow College. Mark is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George M. Anderson of Moroni. Mark is a North Sanpete High School graduate of 1970 and has served an LDS mission in New Zealand. He Carol Hartog of Gunnison president of the Palisade Ladies Golf Associa tion replacing Marge Peterson who resigned. Mr. and Mrs Peterson have moved to northern Utah and Arizona. Janice Peterson of Manti has been appointed vice president. On July 1 a Bell Ringer tournament was held. Winners in the championship division were: Sandra Clark 1st, and Lois Grosvenor 2nd; Palisade flight winners were: Karen Nell 1st, Betty Farley 2nd. The Ladies Day luncheon was served by Ephraim members with Arthella Larsen as chairman. March 15, 1975 they were also honored at an open house in Ogden Earlier in the day they attended the temple. Twenty family members and friends joined them A luncheon was served later for the family in their honor. Fred and Janet Bos of Costa Mesa, California g accompanied them to Ogden. Thev spent a few days in Ogden : visiting with family members. Later that month they went with the Bos fannlv to California for 'i two weeks. After returning from California, they went to Downy, Idaho to the funeral of a niece. On their way back they stopped v in Ogden to visit their family members there. They stayed with their daughter and family. Vera stayed because Joan developed complications in her pregnancy. On Mav 21st they went to Hagerman, Idaho to the graduation of a granddaughter. Those honored received an average of at least 3 5 and were enrolled for at least 12 credit hours. Included among those so honored was Blythe Lynn Hoyle of Ephraim. The bride and groom were married Thursday evening and both received Associate in Science degrees from Snow College Friday morning, May 30. The couple will live in Ephraim for the summer months and will then make their home in Logan while Mark continues his education at Utah State University. Goulash originally meant shepherd, now it means the kind of food that Hungarian shepherds used to eat.
