Coming from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Evan Kjar of Cedar city and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Kjar and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Kjar all of Manti. Visitors the past weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. McLoyd Ericksen were Miss Kaye Erickson of Provo and a friend of Susan, Miss Carol Roy of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A number of relatives and friends visited at the home of Lenn and Louise Jensen during the Memorial weekend. Coming for the weekend were Brent Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. LaVon Nielson Saturday were a brother and his wife, r innm several weeks. She is reported by relatives to be doing fine. Mr. Larsen was in Centerville iioin Monday until Wednesday to be with his wife during her surgery. Mrs. Armada Cox returned home last Wednesday after spending a week in Centerville and Salt Lake City visiting with her family. Mrs. Elga Larsen accompanied her to Salt Lake City. Saturday her sons Gene and LaVaun and grandson Douglas spent the. day in Ephraim. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Ray (Lani) Christensen of Provo visited with Mrs. Cox. Lani is a granddaughter, Monday Mrs. Brenda Bailey and two children of Fountain Green called on her ' grandmother, and Mary Jensen and daughter Kristen, who also visited in Mt. Pleasant. Others who called were Mr. and Mrs. Max (Rose) Allred, Park city; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard tFlorenee) Judkins and six children of Hunter. (Rose and Florence are sisters of Louise.) Also visiting were Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Lee Jensen of Granger; a brother and his wife. Mr. and Mrs. Afton Peteison, Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Swenson, Mr. and Mrs. Max Bradley, and Rex Madsen, all of Salt Lake City. A telephone visit from a brother, Lynn Olsen and his wife Myrle, completed a pleasant holiday. The Olsens are now serving a mission in New Mexico with headquarters at Espanola. Mr. Olsen is coordinator of the agriculture mission there. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nielson of Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Christensen and their son Davis and his wife and little daughter, all of Salt Lake City. The Christensens also visited other relatives and friends in Ephraim while here. Patronize Local Merchants for the Memorial holiday. Before returning home they continued on to southern Utah where they made a tour of the canyons and other scenic points in that area. Other visitors at' the Madsen home Monday were a sister and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Sperry and three daughters and a brother, Lyman Peterson, all of Salt Lake City, and a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Blackham and two daughters of Moroni. Lyman also visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ali Olsen. He left Wednesday to join his wife Eva at the home of their son in Virginia. Eva has been attending summer school in Kentucky for the past four weeks.
