Winners of the championship division were Marlene Holman 1st, and Joyce Jensen 2nd. Winners of the Palisade Flight were LaRee Nielson 1st, and Carolyn Bessey 2nd; all are from Manti. Planned for May 13th is a surprise tournament, arranged by Thora Vivian. Tournament play begins at 10:00 a.m. followed by a luncheon to be served by association officers. Clare Lund is in charge of evening play. The tournament scheduled for May 6th was cancelled because of playing conditions. The ice on the greens was surpassed only by the snow on the fairways. Elected of Manti Girls are Winners in i Competition at Utah State t: Utah State Phi Universitys Beta Lambda chapter came 4-- away from the recent statewide president the group was Leslie Cox, with Alisa Beal as vice president, Randie Merriam as secretary, and Heidi Huntsman as reporter.
