The zone tournament was won by defeating a strong Centerfield team and blitzing a Gunnison team that was favored, by a convincing margin of 9 points. The key to success has been a strong bench. This has enabled liberal substitutions so that the team could maintain a torrid fast break triggered by consistently strong rebounding. The team has been successful using both a zone and pressure n defense. Various individuals have played star roles during the season but all man-to-ma- David Halls had a successful trip and demonstrations on the stoves he is making at the Mall in Oieni for three days last readily admit that their success has been possible because of unselfish team play. It is sponsored by the Utah State Institute of Fine Arts. We feel very fortunate to have this exhibit at our school, particularly during the month of April, which has been set aside as the month for celebrating the Festival of Arts for the Young, said Barbara Starr, art instructor. The paintings in this exhibit are for sale, although all paintings must stay with the exhibit until it closes at the end of May. The approved location of the project is as follows: Beginning 1 the proposed alignment at the Sevier River near US-9- 1 the Union Pacific Railcrosses the to west, parallels thence runs and road tracks, northerly and northeasterly along the west foothills of Juab Valley to a point three miles southwest from Nephi, and thence northeasterly across the Juab Valley entering the foothills on the east side of the valley to the south of Nephi, and thence northerly around the east presently side of Nephi to a connection with that section of under construction, approximately three miles north of Nephi. The total length of the proposed prject is 36 miles. 36 Proposed design features to be constructed consists of interstate highway with three interchanges miles of four-lan- e and related drainage and vehicular structures and facilities. Information to be presented at the hearing will include a discussion of the major design features of the project, current y acquisition and for construction, schedules for and an explanation of relocation assistance programs. Appropriate illustrative materials including maps and plans will be available for inspection. During the hearing, verbal andor written testimony pertaining to the features of the proposed project or to its social, economic and environmental effects will be received from all interested persons or groups. Any person or group unable to attend the public hearing, but wishing to give testimony pertinent to the aforementioned project, may do so in writing, This testimony should be directed to the State Road Commission of Utah and mailed to the Utah State Department of Highwajs, Attention: James E. Johnston, Community Involvement Officer, Room 612 State Office Building, Salt Lake City, Utah 84114. For inclusion in the official transcript of the public heating proceedings, letters must be postmarked no later than midnight, May 5, 1975.
