Show Sterling Dell Peterson and his brother of Springvllle Larry Peterson visited briefly with their aunt and uncle, Lucien and Dona Peterson. Their father, Alva Peterson, has been receiving medical treatment at the University of Utah Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Marx and Mrs. Voneta Swanson of Sterling enjoyed a trip to the Hawaiian, Islands the week of November 18. While there they enjoyed a session at the LDS Temple, attended SundaySchool at the Waikiki Ward, had a city tour, a circle tour of the island, a one day tour to the island of Kauai, the garden isle, where they were taken up the Wailua River on a large launch to the Fern Grotto. Enroute they were serenaded by the crew. They also made a flight to 'IS I ti Hilo where they saw the Rainbow Falls , an orchid and anthur-iu- m nursery, then on to Hawaii National Park where they saw a volcanic wonderland of steaming lava tubes and a towering tree fern forest. Later they enjoyed dinner at the Walakea Village Hotel and a spectacular Polynesian revue. Lucien Peterson spent the fore part of the week in Salt Lake City. Mr. Peterson met with a specialist and submitted to some tests before he returned home on Wednesday. The March of Dimes has sponsored a National Committee on Perinatal Health, to upgrade the quality of maternal, fetal, and newborn health services. Members are obstetricians, pediatricians and family practitioners. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Garbe spent Thanksgiving with their son Douglas and his wife and family in Orem. Their daughter Maxine and her husband and family from Ephraim were also present.
