Show Uranite District Sets City UKays Bond Election Date Sumner to repay it with two percent interest. Special to The Tribune bRANITE PARK Granite School District Board of Education Tuesday night set Nov. 20 as the date for a $19.5 million bond election to raise funds for the distncts capital outlay program. The bonds will be used to bring the school buildings up to the fire and safety code: provide more adequate vocational education training facilities; update and remodel older schools and replace one elementary school, and pay for the ongoing capital outlav costs through July 1, 1979. Out of Funds - Mr. Badger said since then the council has paid approximately $28,000 but still owes $36,000 and in some years has not made payments large enough to cover the interest.
