She seems to be forgetting quite a bit lately Both have been around for a long time, raised families and worked hard, both are tired Or are they ' For the people at the Adult East, Daytime Center, 1125-itthere is more to Lfe than just wailing to die h The center helps relieve a little stress from the families of their patients and remotivate people into thinking ol themselves as useful Just A New Chair Before Jmi Queen became the center's director in January there really wasnt much happening People were just dropped olf to sit in a new chair Jim Queen is clinical director acti ities at Adult Dajime Center ol Since January, however, Jim has instituted therapy sessions, developed activities and strengthened the morale of the clients and staff People like to come to the center now, its like a whole new family Jim. along with Gail Wakefield, of the Salt Lake County Mental Health Sugar House uml. have helped develop definite schedules and activities for the clients Therapy groups and arts and crafts are scheduled at certain times so people know what they can expect on certain days. They dont have to just sit anymore Gail Wakelield was instrumental in bringing about the Adult day center.
